Fraudsters Tell Patients They're Dying....

In a $150M hospice fraud scheme, perpetrators deceived patients, claiming they had less than six months to live. Patients with long-term diseases or limited mental capacity were targeted, and chaplains were sent to meet with them under the false pretense of counseing them about their imminent death. The fraudsters did this so they could bill Medicare for unnecessary services.
